Declared an Asset of Cultural Interest, this square is one of the undisputed points on your visit to the city. It is bordered by a canal that runs for 515 meters and is crossed by four accessible bridges. It also has a central fountain where you can take home a nice souvenir of the city. As you stroll around the square, you can admire the tiled benches representing the different provinces of Spain.

SEVILLE CATHEDRAL
Seville Cathedral is the largest Gothic cathedral in the world and one of the most beautiful. It has also been declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO. During your visit, you will be able to see its most emblematic elements and areas: the tomb of Christopher Columbus, illustrious Spanish people tombs, gargoyles etc. Don't forget to visit the Patio de los Naranjos (Orange Tree Courtyard), of Almohad heritage. Finally, the bell tower of the Cathedral, better known as the Giralda, was for centuries the tallest tower in Spain at 104,1 m high and has a replica in Kansas, a city twinned with Seville.
MUSEUMS
Seville offers a wide and varied list of events and activities. The Museum of Popular Arts and Customs has an enormous collection of dress costumes, gold and silver work and liturgical ornamentation. You can also visit the Archaeological Museum of Seville, which specializes in the exhibition of archaeological remains and witch, although it is a copy of the Carambolo Treasure, presents an excellent quality of the works and pieces that form part of the museum's collection, making it one of the best in Spain.
SANTIPONCE AND THE RUINS OF ITALICA
Just 10 minutes from Seville is the town of Santiponce, one of the most important Roman cities of Italica in our country, with the ruins of a temple. Nowadays, the city offer a guided or private tours to know in detail the roman history, it is route and all the treasures that are still preserved. You can discover the Monastery of San Isidoro del Campo, the Amphitheatre of Italica or the Fernando Marmolejo Municipal Museum, among others.
A visit to its ruins is essential to understand the Roman splendour that reigned on the Iberian Peninsula some 2,000 years ago.
GASTRONOMY
Seville's gastronomy has great pillars that will not leave you indifferent. It also has many different dishes that will captivate any palate that tries them. One of the star dishes is pescaíto frito, which, as it is Spanish name suggests, is a type of fried fish, crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside. If you fancy a fresher dish, cold soup is another dish that is never missing from the menus of the city's restaurants.
Other typical dishes to try in the city are huevos a la flamenca (flamenco-style eggs), larded beef or piripi, a typical Andalusian sandwich made with pork loin, tomato, bacon, cheese, etc. Finally, to sweeten the palate, discover the typical sweets of the area: pestiños, yemas de san Leandro or tortas de polvorón.
